“Sea Port of St. Petersburg” for comfort and luxury on the road
Joint-Stock Company “Sea Port of St. Petersburg” made a request for proposals for the purchase of a Toyota Land Cruiser 300. A contract for the supply from Japan in the amount of 15.6 million rubles is planned to be signed with Inter Auto TIM (the joint-stock company is known by the abbreviation “IAT”) .
The technical characteristics of the vehicle are described as typical for a luxury SUV. From the additional preferences of the customer: a diesel engine with a capacity of 299 horsepower, four-wheel drive, a car wireless charger (in the cabin), air ionizers. The equipment includes four-zone air conditioning (climate control in the cabin), an off-road cornering assistance system and a 12.3-inch modern LCD class display.
The contract, as expected, was put up for public auction. Two companies became interested in the project, but TC Novorizhsky LLC lost the right to further service due to incomplete documentation describing the technical requirements for the car.
The company that won the tender under 223-FZ was registered in 1999, in St. Petersburg, on February 10th. Alexey Korotaev is the General Director of IAT JSC.
With a net profit of 590.3 million rubles, the company’s revenue amounted to about 7.7 billion rubles (Kontur.Focus data, relevant for 2021). The portfolio of government orders includes 129 contracts for 321.2 million rubles. These are mainly state institutions of the Leningrad Region, the largest of which is the Leningrad Regional State Budgetary Institution “Avtobaza” (GBU “Avtobaza of the Government of the Leningrad Region”).
The sea port of St. Petersburg does not forget about its employees. However, for them vehicles are provided more and simpler.
Thus, one low-floor LiAZ-529265 bus, designed for at least 108 seats, of which 29 seats, will cost 11.8 percent cheaper than a Japanese SUV – only 13.8 million. It was entrusted to organize the delivery of the bus to Piterbastsentr.
