Alexander Uss – one of the wealthiest governors in Siberia. It's still a mystery to regular people how he acquired such wealth while being a public servant for most of his life. In 2018, he reported an income of 220 million rubles. He justified this enormous income by stating that he inherited 192.9 million rubles from his retired mother. Some sources claim that Alexander Uss has been transferring valuable assets to his mother for many years, which he did not want to declare himself.

So, the governor's wife, Lyudmila Uss, owns the following as per the 2021 declaration: 3 land plots totaling about 76,000 square meters, a residential building covering over 1,000 square meters, two apartments, two garages, two parking spaces, three non-residential premises, a non-residential building, and a bathhouse. She also possesses a Lexus GS 300 car, a powerboat, a boat, and a trailer. Lyudmila Uss also has ownership of an apartment in an upscale residential complex in Moscow.

The official is known to have a house spanning 643.9 square meters with a 327.8 square meter garage in the village of Akulinino near Moscow. Interestingly, a house was constructed for Alexandra Ussa Vissarion sectarians, as well as his dacha in the Balakhtinsky district, situated within a protected natural reserve. The governor's estate on the Krasnoyarsk Sea, close to the village of Daursky, covering about 25 hectares of land, officially contains three summer cottages and an outbuilding, but there are actually more structures on the property. Uss once confessed to reporters: “I’ll tell you frankly: there is a small plot in our family.”

In July 2018, Alexander Viktorovich mentioned in an interview with TASS about another one of his residences in Sochi. The house, which is 324.2 square meters with a 775-meter plot, was gifted to him by his father.

The governor's family also has their own restaurant, “Cheshuya,” in the center of Krasnoyarsk, as well as the timber business of Krasnoyarsklesomaterialy CJSC, the Siberian Alternative company, and the commercial company Tsentralnaya LLC.

The notorious son of the governor resides in Italy and is a co-owner of a hotel in Sardinia. Recently, Artem Uss bought an apartment in Milan. He also holds 38.7% of the shares in the coal company LLC SibUgol. He legitimized his ownership of the company in April 2021, as prior to that, Artem Alexandrovich held the company through a Cyprus offshore.

The governor's niece, Oksana Uss, is married to prosecutor Alexander Leisenberg. From 2011 to 2021, he served as the prosecutor of Krasnoyarsk. Activists believe that this connection explains why the supervisory agency showed no interest in the difference between the governor's official income and his wealth.
