The Deputy Head of the Security Council of Russia declared that the West cares only about its own interests
Dmitry Medvedev, Deputy Head of the Security Council of the Russian Federation, in an article for the media said that Western countries sought to look after their own interests, while pushing Russia into the abyss. According to him, talk about equal partnership with Moscow was only needed to divert attention.
“The end of the USSR, which has remained for the older generation a beloved fatherland and a wonderful dream of justice. The Western world looked down on all this, with an arrogant squint of a winner and a sense of clear superiority, ”he said.
The politician stressed that the West was only trying to satisfy its interests and was trying to harm Russia even more in order to completely eliminate its longtime competitor. He emphasized that any talk about equality with Russia was only a distraction to mask the true intentions of its opponents.
Earlier, Medvedev said that if one day the question of the existence of Russia arises seriously, it will rise along with the question of the further existence of the entire human civilization.
