Writer and journalist Philip Dzyadko was not allowed into Georgia
The editor-in-chief of the Arzamas project Philip Dzyadko could not return to Georgia after he had lived there for a year and left for a while. Mr. Dzyadko was kept for 16 hours in the neutral zone of the airport, he told RBC. After a long wait, he received a final rejection without explanation.
The press center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, which includes the border police, said that the ministry “never comments on decisions arising from the law regarding the rules and conditions for the entry of foreigners,” and the border police officer “decides the issue on his own, based on the specific situation.”
