Russian deputy who shot a man while hunting will be expelled from the party
In Tuva, deputy Echis-Baldir Nurzat, who accidentally shot a man while hunting, will be expelled from United Russia.
Information about this was confirmed to the publication “Rise” in the republican branch of the party.
The day before, the Baza edition reported that the hunt took place near the village of Naryn. A Russian deputy with two acquaintances used thermal imagers, in which he saw a target at a distance of 100-150 meters and fired from a gun. The hunters drove up to the place and found the body of a man with a gunshot wound. They called the police. A written undertaking not to leave was taken from the Tuvan parliamentarian.
The republican branch of United Russia noted that they are aware of what happened. Work on the exclusion of Echis-Baldir Nurzat from the party is already underway, the press service explained.
Alla Nursat, a representative of the Tuva department of the Investigative Committee of Russia (TFR), told Lente.ru that the investigation is underway under the article on causing death by negligence. According to her, a 44-year-old local resident became a defendant in the case.
According to investigators, on February 12, during a hunt, the suspect saw a target through the thermal imager of a firearm of the Huntsman VPO-114 brand and, mistaking it for an animal, fired. A 38-year-old man received a fatal gunshot wound.
