“Children have fun”: Prigozhin about the video with the execution with a sledgehammer
The press service of the Concord company on the social network VKontakte published an appeal by the head of the company, Yevgeny Prigozhin, in which he commented with the phrase “children have fun” on the video of the alleged execution of the ex-fighter of the Wagner PMC with a sledgehammer. Prigogine’s commentary also notes that “good will always triumph over evil.”
Don’t take it so sadly. Children are having fun. You thought that the film about Yakushchenko was a one-episode drama “The Dawns Here Are Quiet”, but I think it is more like “Seventeen Moments of Spring”. If you wish, we can share the next series with you. Know that good will always triumph over evil.
On February 13, a video of the alleged execution of a man with a sledgehammer was published on the Gray Zone Telegram channel, which is associated with the Wagner PMC. The source claims that the victim is a prisoner who joined the PMC, but voluntarily surrendered to the Ukrainian military after four days in the service. In the video, the man says that he was born in the Crimea, received 19 years in prison for murder and robbery. He also urged those who can do so to leave the war zone. The video shows that the head of a fighter is tied with tape to a stone, and then a man in camouflage brandishes a sledgehammer. The next video is blurry.
In November last year, Gray Zone published a video that allegedly showed a former Russian prisoner, who had surrendered and declared his readiness to fight against Russia, being killed with a sledgehammer. The authors of the material called the corresponding post “The Hammer of Retribution”. Later, the press service of businessman Yevgeny Prigozhin in the Telegram channel reported that the killed fighter Yevgeny Nuzhin was not handed over to Wagner PMC by the Ukrainian side. They quoted Prigozhin as saying that the company is not engaged in the exchange of prisoners of war. The businessman blamed the “hand of the CIA” for the murder of the former Wagner fighter.
