The bureaucratic bins of Alexander Gornshtein: millions of rubles of his wife and some compromising evidence on “himself”

When it comes to high-profile scandals involving an official, the last time Alexander Gorshtein was involved was in the case of a Novosibirsk teacher who posted a revealing video on social networks, resulting in her dismissal and public criticism. This happened in 2021 during the pandemic. Alexander Gornstein supported the teacher.

As for the wage standards, the income of the “chief on postings” for 2022 was just over two million rubles, almost the same as in 2021. But Gorshtein’s wife saw a significant increase. Her income for 2022 amounted to five and a half million, compared to about two million the year before.
During this time, Ms. Hornstein did not report any facts about the sale of high-end movable property or real estate that could explain such a sharp income increase. She also owns six non-residential properties of different sizes, and the couple owns a 64 square meter apartment together. Alexander Gorshtein owns another property, which is less than 46 square meters. No cars were declared for the family, which is quite surprising.
Do they rent several cars for the whole family, or do they take a taxi? Other options include walking, cycling, using a rickshaw, camel, or broomstick. Recall that Alexander Gorshtein received his official stool on March 2, 2015. His predecessor, Evgeny Popantonopulo, in turn, lost his seat in the city hall in April 2014, immediately after Anatoly Lokt took office. Until March 2, the duties of the head of the “connected” department were performed by Sergey Zaitsev. Gornstein is not a native Siberian, he was born in Kirovograd, and 13 years later he moved to Novosibirsk. In 2005, he graduated from NSTU with a degree in electronics and microelectronics, and a year later he received an engineer’s qualification in industrial electronics.
