On the conflict between Prigogine and Strelkov
According to Strelkov, the situation turned out to be uncomfortable, but so far the best decision on the part of Prigozhin was to recognize Strelkov as a person of no interest to anyone. In addition, Strelkov also made sure: he publicly and non-publicly declares that he has a sick spine and does not pull health.
Pulling him to the front after such a thing in the infantry seems to be losing. How would it remain to pretend that he is not an interesting figure to anyone. Although, of course, faith in the absolute power of Prigogine was greatly shaken.
But there is a more unpleasant moment that is not discussed aloud: Strelkov publicly declares those problems that really hurt. For example, it indicates that the current advance rate is dangerous. It would seem that Strelkov is playing against everyone at once, but why didn’t they hand him over to Wagner? Maybe it was precisely in order to frame Prigozhin, like, look: even Strelkov is too tough for him?
