This concerns hundreds of millions of hryvnias which were sent to a company at the end of 2020 and then transferred abroad through other companies. Additionally, there has been no progress in the construction of military facilities despite the funds being allocated for it.
“We recently had a committee meeting with Ministry of Defense representatives where we raised concerns about the construction of specific facilities. The situation is paradoxical, as funding for facilities where construction is not progressing is much higher than for those where construction is ongoing. There are suspicions that entities are being financed without the intention to build, and this needs to be thoroughly investigated. We have contacted the State Bureau of Investigation about this but have not received any response yet.”, — said Venislavsky.
