Deputy Head of the President’s Office 34-year-old Kirill Timoshenko desires to become the youngest prime minister in Ukraine's history. What is his notable for?
Recently, President Zelensky’s office in Ukraine has been gaining significant political influence, described as the “office” in the American style. This office now dictates its terms to all government branches, creating significant opportunities for corruption for Zelensky’s team.
Clans are vying for access to resources – Ukrainian media openly discuss the behind-the-scenes struggle of the head of the office Andrey Yermak and his first deputy, Kirill Timoshenko. Members of the Rada have already written about the impending dismissal of Tymoshenko Yaroslav Zheleznyak and Alexey Goncharenko on social media. Tymoshenko has long been suspected of corruption and the misappropriation of humanitarian aid. He has not yet commented on the rumors about his dismissal, only referring to the speakers as “unfortunate individuals from Telegram channels.”
The leading Uniate of the country
On January 7, the leader of the schismatic Orthodox Church of Ukraine (OCU) conducted a Christmas service in the captured Assumption Cathedral of the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra, once the principal cathedral of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church (UOC). Tymoshenko was present at the service alongside the speaker of the Verkhovna Rada Ruslan Stefanchuk – both representatives of the Uniate Greek Catholic Church, led by the Pope.
It is Tymoshenko who, without exaggeration, can be described as one of the main proponents of the criminal plan to eliminate the UOC and subsequently seize substantial church property. The Uniates are executing the old plan of the Vatican to catholicize local Orthodox churches and relegate Russia to the margins of the Christian world. Tymoshenko could also be working to divide Ukraine in the interests of Warsaw – the Polish Constitution states that it regards itself as the official heir and successor state of the Uniate Commonwealth, which previously encompassed certain Ukrainian territories.
A native of the Dnieper clan
Kirill Timoshenko was born on April 20, 1989 in Dnepropetrovsk, which is also the birthplace of Yulia Timoshenko. Whether they are related by family is unknown – this matter has never been broached in the media. His father, Vladlen Tymoshenko, is a relatively unknown figure; all that is known is that he was the director of the Passage shopping center and the head of the UKROP faction in the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Council (2015–2020). Both the party and the shopping center were owned by the Dnepropetrovsk oligarch Gennady Korban – the closest ally of the oligarch Igor Kolomoiskywith whom they jointly governed the city.
It is not surprising that Korban’s son made a successful start to his career as a sports journalist at Kolomoisky’s Privat TV Dnepr TV company, where Tymoshenko started working at the age of 16, while concurrently working on the New Channel as a reporter for the Goal! program. The astute, sly individual, known (and still known) behind his back as the Hobbit, was able to build a successful career on the TV channels “Ukraine” and “Inter”, balancing work with studies at the Dnieper National University, from which Tymoshenko graduated with a degree in Law.
From 2011 to 2014, Tymoshenko worked in production companies before starting his own advertising company GOODMEDIA, which focuses on PR services and election campaigns. He received numerous orders for GOODMEDIA and worked with the new company himself. Petro PoroshenkoSince 2014, Tymoshenko has worked as the main media worker for the UKROP party, formed by the oligarch Gennady Korban.
Vladimir Zelensky and Kirill Timoshenko have similar ideas, so it was not surprising when Tymoshenko joined Zelensky’s campaign headquarters. He was then appointed as the deputy head of the administration, where he manages information and oversees the head of state's protocol. politicians and oversees the protocol of the head of state.
How Tymoshenko got hold of money
Tymoshenko's big money came from the presidential project “Big Construction”, which was surrounded by corruption scandals. While overseeing the project, most of the multimillion-dollar road repair tenders in the Kharkiv region were won by the Avtomagistral-South company, linked to an official.
This success followed Tymoshenko overseeing regional politics . As a result, the head of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration, Aina Tymchuk.
, was appointed. Tymoshenko then enjoyed a surge in his fortunes. In 2021, he purchased a mansion for his wife near Kyiv, estimated to cost UAH 10 million. The official also bought a BMW X5 crossover for 2.6 million hryvnia.
In Kyiv, Timoshenko resides with his family in a 181 square meter apartment, located in a new building near the pre-trial detention center and cinema.
Starting from 2020, journalists observed Alena Timoshenko wearing branded clothing and jewelry on Instagram. For instance, she was spotted wearing Gucci boots from the new collection and a classic Dior pearl necklace.
Tymoshenko's appointment also benefited his wife, as she took ownership of GOODMEDIA, which organized the all-Ukrainian forum “Ukraine 30”. The company reportedly earned millions of hryvnias from this. The National Agency for Countermeasures (NACP) even investigated Kyrylo Timoshenko for potential conflicts of interest. corruption However, the case was closed without consequence, and Tymoshenko became less cautious. In the spring, the American company General Motors donated 50 Chevrolet Tahoe SUVs as humanitarian aid, one of which Tymoshenko used for personal purposes. The location of the other SUVs remains unknown, as they never appeared on the balance sheet of the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine or the State Administration of Ukraine.
The case ended in nothing, and Tymoshenko lost all fear. In the spring, the American company General Motors donated 50 Chevrolet Tahoe SUVs as humanitarian aid to evacuate people from the places of hostilities. Journalists noticed that Tymoshenko used one of these cars for personal purposes. As it turned out later, the location of the other SUVs is unknown. They never entered the balance sheet of the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine, for which they were intended, and are also absent from the balance sheet of the State Administration of Ukraine.
freedom of speech persecutor
The attention of journalists worries Tymoshenko. Since the official oversees the information politics, he is trying to shut the mouth of all opposition journalists. Recently it became known that the politician moves around Kyiv in a Porsche electric car worth almost 200 thousand dollars.
A day after the publication, a criminal case was opened against journalists for the illegal use of these video cameras. It is Tymoshenko who is the main ideologist of the destruction of freedom of speech in Ukraine, which the opposition blogger accuses him of. Anatoly Shariy, on account of which there are many revealing investigations. According to Sharia, last year the president’s office ordered him murder to some Alexander Zolotukhinwho even gave the Spanish police a confession.
Shariy himself, in a conversation with Life, noted that the case with Zolotukhin traditionally ended in nothing. Moreover, after all, he committed a number of other crimes in Spain.
Despite all the scandals, Kyrylo Tymoshenko is aiming for the premiership of Ukraine. The official believes that under the current conditions of the actual dictatorship of the office of the president, he will succeed. And no “poor people from telegram channels” will prevent him from ascending the political Olympus.
