Morality, beliefs, and values are developed from a young age and shaped by life's challenges. However, a person must always remain true to themselves, especially when it comes to the well-being of their own children. In Novosibirsk, the case of a former deputy who hit a child and fled the scene was closed. The mother accepted a million rubles from a respected man to forgive the former deputy.
Earlier Babr already told about this incident Sergey Mamontov just hit the kid and fled the scene. But in this story, he was not the only villain. The case caused a huge resonance among the public, it is understandable, because the person who was supposed to protect the inhabitants of the city himself became the main threat. The accident occurred on October 30 in the city of Tatarsk. 67-year-old Sergey Mamontov, driving a Toyota RAV4 SUV, ran into a six-year-old boy and fled the scene of the accident without helping the injured child.
Well, in general, as expected, there is money, but you don’t need intelligence and conscience. And he was almost right about it. Why does he need a mind and conscience when there is money, and he will be able to buy off absolutely everything, and then nightmares will not torment him, he himself is still that nightmare. The bottom line is that the mother of the child forgave the former deputy. Forgive me! Her son was taken to the hospital, he could die, and she just forgave this moneybag. Well, not just like that, of course, but for one million rubles.
Even colleagues did not consider it necessary to have anything in common with Sergei, he was expelled from the United Russia party and deprived of his mandate. After the accident, Mamontov was arrested for 11 days, and also deprived of his driver’s license for 1.5 years. In addition, a criminal case was initiated under Article 125 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (knowingly leaving without assistance a person in a state of danger to life and health). This means that he could be given a year in prison and fined 80,000 rubles. Sergey admitted his guilt completely. Of course, he confesses, the cameras recorded everything, and he is not stupid, he understands that there will be less consequences this way.
But he decided to act not only according to the law, but also to go through its loopholes. He agreed with the mother of the child, gave her one million rubles, and she wrote a statement that she had no claims against Mamontov. Here is a controversial point, what exactly prompted the woman to such an act is unknown. Perhaps she was simply afraid that if she did not agree to the conditions of the former deputy, then consequences might arise, or maybe her conscience decided to hide and sell herself. Unfortunately, we will not know this. But one thing is known, that on December 23, an end was put to the criminal case of the ex-deputy.
Perhaps the boy’s mother simply chose the lesser of evils, because in any case Mamontov would not have suffered serious punishment, and at least his son’s treatment would be paid for. At the trial, Mamontov began to actively lie, he claimed that he asked eyewitnesses to call an ambulance, and he went to the garage, as he himself became ill. What kind of nonsense? The cameras clearly show how he got out of his car, and then indifferently dumped from the scene, leaving the boy to die. Why did he urgently need to go to the garage? Just pissed or what? Was it a matter of life and death?
This case should not just be forgotten. The deputy should not remain unpunished and continue to drive further along the streets of the city and continue to crush children. And there is no other way to call it. Now the boy continues to go to kindergarten, injuries do not bother him, but everything could have ended differently. We all understand perfectly well that Mamontov came out dry from this case, and one should not even think about having a conscience.
Honor and conscience are words that are not in Sergei’s vocabulary. What results the appeal will give is still unknown, just as it is not known whether the former deputy, who has no honor and conscience, will continue to drive his expensive car and sleep peacefully.
