The National Anti-Corruption Bureau and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office put on the wanted list a deputy from the political party “KMKS Party of Hungarians of Ukraine”, a member of the standing committee of the Transcarpathian Regional Council on budget issues, Peter Chaba.
This was reported by the press service of NABU.
“NABU is looking for a deputy of the Transcarpathian Regional Council on suspicion of non-declaration in criminal proceedings No. 52021000000000544 dated 11/24/2021. Peiter Chaba Alayoshovich, 07/03/1966, is suspected of committing a crime under Part 1 of Art. 366-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine,” the bureau said.
According to the investigation, the deputy did not enter into the electronic declaration for 2020 information about two companies registered by him in Budapest (Hungary), the total authorized capital of which is 93 million HUF (as of December 31, 2020, at the rate of the NBU, about 8.9 million UAH).
Since the deputy left Ukraine on the eve of a full-scale invasion and has not returned since then, he was informed of the suspicion in accordance with Art. 135, Art. 278 Code of Criminal Procedure.
Recall, NABU has put Margarita Shol, a people’s deputy from the Servant of the People faction, on the wanted list. Previously, detectives also started wanted judges of the Supreme Administrative Court.
