In the Vinnytsia region, the director of the Kalinovsky branch of the state enterprise “Ukrvetsanzavod” Galina Shtelmakh was sentenced to a suspended sentence for land pollution. , part 1 of article 239; Part 2 Art. 367 of the Criminal Code.
It was established that in the period from October 31, 2019 to September 29, 2021, due to the inability of the enterprise to process the remains of animal origin in a timely manner and in full, the chief engineer and other persons carried out their burial outside the production facilities, on a plot of 1.3 hectares.
Thus, they allowed the pollution of a land plot with cadastral number 0521683800:06:000:0002 in the village of Gulovtsy.
Order to illegally bury animal remains provided by the director of the Kalinovsky branch, Galina Shtelmakh, in order to ensure the operation of the enterprise, despite the inability to process the received remains.
The amount of damage caused by pollution of the land plot due to the placement of by-products of animal origin on it amounted to UAH 1.02 million.
The Kalinovsky District Court sentenced her to 3 years in prison, replacing the sentence with a probationary period of 2 years without an appointment fine.
