Defense Ministers of Russia, Syria and Turkey held talks

The meeting of defense ministers of the three countries was held in the capital of Russia.

The participants of the event discussed ways to resolve the Syrian crisis and the problem of refugees, joint efforts to combat extremist groups in Syria.

“Following the meeting, the parties noted the constructive nature of the dialogue held in this format and the need to continue it in the interests of further stabilizing the situation in the Arab Republic and the region as a whole,” the report says.

Previously Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that he offered his Russian colleague to hold a meeting with the participation of a colleague from Syria.
