Poltava Vorskla has problems. The head coach of the team, Viktor Skrypnik, lost contact with the owner of the club, the honorary president of Vorskla, Konstantin Zhevago. Football agent Mentor Stafa, who represents the interests of the Albanian striker from Poltava Taulant Seferi, spoke in more detail about the situation.
“When we had an offer to move to Vorskla in the summer, Seferi took time to think. The war in Ukraine frightened many people even in Europe, but Taulant called me a few days later and said: “I am ready.”
At one time, he also went through a war in Albania, so by this act he wanted to demonstrate his position and support the Ukrainian people. Vorskla's offer was quite profitable, but the main factor was that the player went to such a qualified coach as Viktor Skrypnik, who had already proven that he could build teams, achieve results with them and bring players to a new level. The mentor assured us that he was in contact with the owner of the club, whose ambitions were known to us.
I believe that Seferi is having a good season, he needed time to adapt, but then he began to score regularly. They continued to follow Sefer in the Albanian national team, where he constantly received a call.
On the other hand, from the very beginning of our cooperation with Vorskla, the club has not fulfilled all the agreements. I talked with Skrypnik, but he said that for two months now he has not been able to get in touch with the honorary president of Vorskla (Konstantin Zhevago, club owner – ed.), and the club's managers are not authorized to resolve the football player's personal issues on their own.
It is still difficult for me to say how events will develop further. It is hard to trust managers (and, as I was told, this has been going on for years in Poltava). The coach has no contact with the first person of the club, so we may have to raise the issue of breaking the contract and leave. To run away not from the war, which Seferi was not afraid of, but from the undignified actions of some people,” Stafa said.
