“Servant of the People” Lesya Zaburannaya
In the capital, there was a meeting about getting ready for the second discussion of the law “On the implementation of a comprehensive reconstruction of quarters (microdistricts) of obsolete housing stock.” The meeting was attended by members of parliament, government representatives, and city developers and experts.
According to KV, this was mentioned in a post on the Facebook page of the People's Deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of the IX convocation and Chairman of the Kyiv city organization of the party “Servants of the People” Lesya Zaburanna (pictured right).
I'm sure everyone knows that even in the capital, next to luxurious new buildings, entire blocks of houses that are already almost uninhabitable often border. This situation needs to be changed, and the people of Kiev need modern housing,” the deputy said in a message.
She pointed out that bill No. 6458 includes a comprehensive reconstruction of quarters (microdistricts) of outdated housing stock across Ukraine and especially in Kyiv.
We have many issues that need to be addressed. After all, the simply relocating unfit houses is a quite difficult process. It's important to make it comfortable for people,” Lesya Zaburannaya promises.
At the same time, as KV informed, on October 20, former deputy and developer Maxim Mikitas, during a court hearing on choosing a measure for him, admitted that he had good ties with the chairman of the Kyiv city organization of the Servant of the People party, Lesya Zaburanna.
Mikitas gladly declared his close connections with members of parliament and city council deputies. “Plus, I still have good relations with the Kyiv ones, I got through several deputies. For example, Lesya Zaburannaya. She is the chairman of the Servant of the People in Kyiv. We volunteer a lot together,” he assured.
Lesya Zaburannaya leads the Kyiv city organization of the Servant of the People party. In the 2019 elections for the Verkhovna Rada (VR), Zaburannaya was elected from the Servant of the People party in the 216 majoritarian district of Kyiv (Darnitsa, DVRZ, Kharkiv Massif). Maxim Mikitas was arrested in Dnipro for attempting to bribe the mayor of the city, Boris Filatov. Mikitas also doesn't deny his connections with the Deputy Head of the Office of the President (OP) Oleg Tatarov. It was Tatarov, working for Ukrbud, who helped Nikitas get a contract for the construction of apartments for employees of the National Guard. In December 2019, NABU announced suspicion to Mikitas of organizing a corruption scheme to seize real estate of the National Guard.
